3 on 3

What is 3 on 3 (Why is it good!)

3 on 3 says what it is right there in the name: leveling to Tavern Tier 3, on Turn 3 (5 gold).
The strength of 3 on 3 lies in the power of tier 3 (and to a lesser extent 4) minions; skipping weaker minions on lower tiers, and building a powerful midgame board. The early level to tier 3 makes for a clean early level to tier 4, which houses some of the better tempo options the game has to offer.

Which Heros should play 3 on 3?

Heroes that benefit from playing 3 on 3 are those that gain direct benefits from being on higher tavern tiers, such as Galewing or Captain Cookie, or heroes whose heropower gives them extra tempo in combat, to offset or prevent more early damage and get better minions to use with their heropower. Examples include Al'Akir or The Lich King.

Impactful Tribes:
Mechs, for their access to Deflect-o-Bot (with divine shield resets).
Dragons, because almost all their tier 3 and 4 minions provide great tempo, most notable bronze warden on tier 3, and the combination of Tarecgosa and Prized Promo Drake once on tier 4.
Quilboars, since all their tier 3 minions have good stats and utility.
